This is a strategy for the whole city, and in this spirit we want to offer partners the chance to pledge committing their time, expertise or support to deliver inclusive growth. Some stakeholders have already responded and their pledges are incorporated in the document, we aim to build on this over the summer.

We have an Information Governance Framework that includes a Data Protection and Privacy Statement and a set of Information Security policies. These set out how we protect your information, covering a range of information technology security areas. We provide training to staff who handle personal information. We may share information with other people and organisations where we are required by law to do so or with appropriate justification under the Data Protection Act, for example where the disclosure is necessary to enable the Council or another organisation to exercise its statutory functions.
